Mystery Disease

A while ago, us BEAMers were assigned a role play sort of project: Mystery Disease. Mrs.Rogers played Dr.Billman and we were all split into groups. We played roles as health inspectors but not like a play. We investigated a disease that was spreading through Barrow County. We investigated and wrote memos for the week's memos from Dr.Billman aka Mrs.Rogers. We went through a whole process, investigating and reading through updates on the children who caught the disease. While nearing the end, we figured out the disease and soon solved the case. It was confusing in the beginning because we were starting from some point we didn't even know about. We eventually picked up the pace and zoomed through the whole assignment. This assignment was very informative, interactive and interesting. Stock Market

Stock market is a very interesting topic. Bonds, mutual funds, and competition! In the beginning, my group was pretty good. As we proceeded and excelled through it, we had to think harder and know what to invest in and what not to invest in. We currently are in the 300 range which is decent... ish. Anyway, it is all about knowing what is right to invest in and you and your team have to work together. Here is the link to a log we made to record our invests in what company:
